About the opportunity  

Ready to take the next step in your accounting career? If you’ve built a solid foundation and want to grow your management accounting skills, this role is the perfect opportunity to develop and make an impact.   

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-focused Management Accountant to join our team. You’ll support financial planning and reporting, helping ensure business decisions are backed by strong data. You’ll work with financial information, refine processes, and contribute to performance improvement, all while learning from experienced professionals.

In this role, you will: 

  • Assist the manufacturing variance analysis process, ensuring accurate reporting and clear explanations of variances.   
  • Assist with job costing and profitability analysis, ensuring accurate allocation of materials, labour and overheads.  
  • Support the month-end close process. 
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities 
  • Build and maintain financial models and dashboards to track performance 
  • Extract, clean, and manage data from ERP systems and spreadsheets 
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that streamline reporting and enhance data quality 
  • Assist with ERP implementation and system upgrades, providing finance expertise 
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure financial plans align with strategic goals 
  • Deliver insightful analysis that supports commercial decisions and highlights risks and opportunities.

About you  

You’ll be someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and collaborating across teams to deliver meaningful financial outcomes. The ideal candidate will also have: 

  • Around 2 years' experience in a similar role 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with CA or equivalent certification (or working towards) 
  • Strong analytical thinking and financial acumen 
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid Microsoft excel skills 
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • A tech-savvy mindset with a passion for automation and innovation 
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines 
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude with a willingness to get stuck in 
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Infor Syteline or Dynamics 365) would be advantageous  
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Query, or Power Automate is desirable 
  • Be a team player, interact and work effectively with others to achieve shared goals.
