Dairy Support Block Manager

Dairy Support Manager Key Duties include daily feeding and health management of dairy young stock, irrigation, weed control, tractor operations including feeding out and cultivation, fencing, and other farm maintenance. Key Attributes:

• Take responsibility for high performing support blocks that include attention to detail for animal health and welfare, pasture and crop management, and overall farm presentation.
• Must have previous experience with stock and machinery and can work unassisted.
• Must be able to make decisions on a daily basis and can use their own initiative to seek jobs that need doing and any problem solving that may arise.
• Have a valid full driver licence (heavy truck is an advantage)
• Must be available to work every 2nd weekend to complete essential tasks *Have excellent communication skills *Must be able to work independently as well as within the wider teams of support and dairy. *Be clean and tidy. *No accommodation provided - this is a drive in position.
