Description
Shepherd / General Position Otamauri Station – Hastings, Hawke’s Bay Otamauri is a 1000ha family-owned sheep and beef property located 40 km west of Hastings. We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy person to join our team and assist our highly regarded Farm Manager with the day-to-day running of the property.
About the Farm:
- Breeding ewes – all to terminal sire
- Trade lambs
- Beef heifer finishing
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years’ farming experience
- At least two well-trained dogs under good command
- High level of stockmanship – stock work will be a major part of the role
- Ability to use Farm IQ for recording
- Good understanding of general farm maintenance
