We are looking for a self-motivated reliable person to join our team on our 1300 ha coastal cattle fattening farm on the west coast south of Raglan. This farm is part of a wider diverse farming business.
The successful applicant will be involved in the day-to-day running of an intensive dry stock operation. Key responsibilities include
The ability to work safely, follow instructions, and work independentlyGrazing management in an intensive systemWeed controlFencing skills, polywires and repairs and maintenanceWater system repairs and maintenanceA good eye for animal healthYard work, drenching weighing loading and unloading trucksCompetency with motorbikes, side by side, tractors, chainsaw and /or willingness to learnA full drivers license and gun license ultimately required
