Verry Farming Limited is a farming business running 1700ha near Te Kuiti. We run 7500 sheep and the cattle policy includes bulls, steers, dairy grazers, beef heifers and cows. You would be working with the manager and three others including a Growing Future Farmer student. You should have: 4-5 years farming experience 5-6 capable working dogs A genuine passion for farming An interest and experience in driving livestock performance and pasture management Ability to take responsibility for day to day tasks High standards and be a self-starter when it comes to R&M and general duties
Key attributes required are excellent communication and time management, attention to detail, a willingness to learn and a sense of humour. We offer a supportive work environment and encourage further training to help you grow your responsibility within the role. Accommodation is a tidy, warm four bedroom house, near Te Kuiti.
