Description
We run 5500 ewes and replacements and finish the majority of lambs. Our cattle policy includes breeding cows and finishing steers and bulls. We have very good infrastructure with a good balance of hill and intensive country.
An opportunity has arisen for a competent person with leadership ability to join our team. We provide a supportive working environment and encourage career advancement.
We run an all grass system with no supplements.
This person would need to be proficient in pasture management, have good stockmanship skills and capable in all aspects of farm maintenance. We value staff with high standards, excellent communication skills and an ability to plan and keep up to date records. A team of good working dogs are essential.
You will be working with the manager to plan and execute animal health programmes, stock rotations, stock movements on and off farm and farm maintenance.
