BEE KEEPER ASSISTANT

Our client is currently seeking a Bee-Keeping Assistant to work in their well established family business, based in Tauranga. Bay of Plenty. This is a full time role supporting the Team Leader to prepare the hives for pollination of kiwifruit and then the production and extraction of high-quality honey products.
You will be working with experienced beekeepers and if you have the right attitude you will become an experienced beekeeper and valuable member of our team enjoying the benefits that come with that. Our team varies from 3 to 7 depending on the time of the year. To be successful in this role you will

• Have no medical aversion to working around bees and bee hives.
• Need a great attitude towards working with a close knit, highly productive team
• The ability to be adaptable to changes throughout a busy seasonal environment
• Be keen to learn new skills and improve yourself.
• Have a minimum of a full drivers Licence
• Good communication is needed to understand and contribute to the daily flow of varying activities
• Previous experience would be an advantage but not necessary. In return you will
