This is a fantastic opportunity to join our well established and experienced family-owned tree topping business. This position provides an excellent environment to learn and grow, while using your mechanical mind with a hands-on approach in a fun ever changing team environment.

About the Role:

• Maintaining a safe work area, assisting with health and safety procedures.
• Chain saw operation.
• Assisting with the setup and takedown of sites.
• Maintenance of gear.
• Log making.
• Operating a chipper.
• Interacting with customers.
• Excavator operation with tree shear.

Job type:

• Full time permanent.
• Starting rate based upon experience.

About You:

• Committed to being part of a team while demonstrating self-management skills and effective communication.
• Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude and a hands-on approach.
• Chain saw experience, minimum of level 3 required.
• Ability to cope with the physical demands of the job (medium to high level of fitness needed).
• Full driver's license essential, RTW endorsements and class 1-5 would be preferred.
• Must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work Visa.
