Description

Draftline operate from Offices in Christchurch, Timaru, Wanaka and provide design & draughting services nationwide for builders, developers & home owners.

Diverse projects come part of the territory with Draftline from minor residential alterations to central Otago feature builds, multi res, commercial and motel complexes and everything in between.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients, builders & fellow team members to develop consent drawings.
  • Utilise ArchiCAD (28) to produce comprehensive accurate drawings
  • Prepare and review building consent applications ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Self-manage project executables
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and local authorities

Experience Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or similar.
  • Proficient draughting in ArchiCAD with 3 years + experience
  • 3 years minimum experience in a NZ based architectural environment.
  • Conversant in Windows Office product suite
  • Familiarisation with project management software (Workflow Max would be an advantage)
  • Capable user in Council based systems (ie Simpli, Objective Build, AlphaOne etc)
  • Strong understanding of New Zealand building standards, NZS3604, NZ Building Code, and Resource and Building Consent processes.
  • Licensed Building Practitioner accreditation (Design 1 or 2)
  • A New Zealand Drivers license and residency is required
