elite kitchens is a family owned and operated joinery company based in New Plymouth, proudly celebrating 25 years of designing, manufacturing, and installing premium kitchens and bespoke home joinery.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Designer to join our team.
About the role
As a Kitchen Designer at elite kitchens, you’ll work closely with our clients and in-house manufacturing team to design thoughtful, functional, and beautifully crafted kitchens and joinery.
Based in our purpose-built joinery centre and showroom, you’ll be supported by skilled tradespeople, modern machinery, and the latest technology — allowing you to see your designs come to life from concept through to installation.
This role suits someone who:
- Passionate about design and connecting with people
- Takes pride in quality, accuracy, and detail
- Enjoys being part of a collaborative and supportive team
- Values long-term relationships with clients and colleagues alike
Is this you?
- 3+ years’ experience in kitchen and/or interior design
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design capability
- Confident with design software (SketchUp Pro experience an advantage)
- Excellent eye for detail and accuracy
- Positive, professional and client-focused
- Organised, reliable and accountable
- Enjoys working collaboratively with designers, manufacturers and installers
