Automotive Technician - Mechanic

Your Neighbourhood Mechanic is a large full service automotive workshop in East Auckland on the border of Mt Wellington and Glen Innes. We are an established business with a large workshop (9 hoists) increasing shortly, dedicated WoF inspector and four technicians on the floor. And have a EV/Hybrid specialist workshop starting next door. Working across a range of fleet we most commonly repair and service Toyota, Mazda, VW, BMW and Audi, and are growing strongly in to the EV and Hybrid fleet and will keep our technicians upskilled on changing technologies in fleet.

Ideally, you will be a self motivated individual who takes pride in turning out quality workmanship and able to work unsupervised. You will have a personal interest in cars, perhaps your own project car at home?

Key responsibilities include:

Repair & service of vehicles to a high standard Carrying out a range of repairs - from coolant systems to ecu modules Use of electronic equipment and software

You must be a qualified automotive technician with a minimum of three years experience, ideally you will have five years +.
