Senior Caravan / RV Repair Technician

Established central Auckland caravan dealership is looking for an experienced & highly motivated Senior Service / Repair Technician. We have grown year on year proving to be a respected name in this buoyant industry. We are seeking a superstar team member to be an integral part of our team long term and strive for excellence.

Must have sufficient experience working on caravans, Australian and UK / European. Experience with cabinetry and ingress repair work, fitting upgrades to caravans like solar panels, TV's, motor movers & diesel heaters, fixed fresh and grey water tanks. You'll need to be able to service and perform repairs to appliances and systems such as fridges, plumbing, kitchen appliances and heaters. Knowledge of 12V systems. You'll be a self-motivated problem solver with a can-do attitude and be able to work to well alone and with others to complete work to a high standard.

You must be experienced with safely towing and manoeuvring large caravans and have a full clean NZ driver's license.

The ideal applicant will be:

*Resourceful, self-motivated, energetic and physically fit with a great attitude

*Have minimum 5 years' experience with proven track record and be able to provide recent references

*Be able to trouble shoot tricky repairs and display a high level of initiative

*Work well and stay calm under pressure

*Have an eye for detail and hold pride in their work

*Be punctual, reliable and honest

*Be able to work diligently alone and with our other technicians and regularly including liaising with our Gas, Electrical and Self Containment certifiers and groomers

*Have experience with caravan handovers / deliveries to customers and be able to demonstrate caravan functions

*Show a high level of customer service whilst liaising with customers

*Be highly organised and have excellent time management skills

*Personally presentable

*Friendly and excellent command of the English written and spoken language.

*Have a great demeanour and maintain our positive shop vibe

*Be highly experienced with towing and manoeuvring a wide range of caravan sizes

*Be open to new challenges and learning new skills if required

Essential:

*Full, clean NZ driver's license

*Open to Police and ACC check
