What will you do? Your technical expertise is the foundation of our guests' dream holidays. As a Motorhome Technician, you are responsible for ensuring every vehicle is safe, roadworthy, and meticulously prepared before it reaches a new customer or motorhome owner. Through rigorous inspection, testing, and diagnostic troubleshooting, you will perform the necessary repairs, adjustments, or overhauls required to meet our high standards. Your focus is on the critical pre-sale and handover process, ensuring that when a customer receives their motorhome, it is in peak condition and ready for the road. This position is required to be rostered on 7 day coverage.
What we need from you:
- A minimum of 4 years in maintaining and repairing diesel light commercial vehicles
- A mechanical or engineering trade qualification is advantageous
- Proven experience in an automotive workshop or related industry
- Mechanical, electrical and electronics experience
- Ability to work under pressure
- Resourceful and solution-based thinking
- Critical thinking skills and good levels of communication
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Availability to work weekends
- Full, clean driver’s licence.
- Experience with driving large vehicles e.g. motorhomes.
- Permanent legal entitlement to work in NZ
