The role You will work as part of a skilled team, carrying out a wide range of mechanical and WoF-related tasks.
Key responsibilities: Carrying out WoF inspections (WoF ticket is mandatory) Servicing and maintenance of vehicles Minor and major mechanical repairs Diagnostics and fault finding Test driving vehicles to assess performance Clear communication with customers regarding repairs and maintenance Maintaining accurate job records and compliance standards Skills and experience required Trade-qualified Automotive Technician Current WoF Authority (mandatory) Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills Good work ethic and ability to work independently Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Confident using workshop systems and basic computer tools Ability to work well within a small team
Experience with diesel, hydraulics, or fleet vehicles will be an advantage but is not essential. How to apply If you are currently based elsewhere in New Zealand and are open to relocating, applications are welcome.
