About the role
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of vehicle repairs and maintenance services at our modern workshop in Manukau, Auckland. This is a full-time role that offers job stability.
What you'll be doing
Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension problems
Carry out scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, and wheel alignments
Test and replace faulty parts, using a range of diagnostic equipment and tools
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and keeping them informed about the status of their vehicle
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained
Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and industry best practices
What we're looking for
A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably in a similar workshop environment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues
Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools, with a good understanding of automotive systems and components
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to customers in a clear and concise manner
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality workmanship
A valid driver's license and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
