Senior Tyre Technician

Here is an opportunity to join our well-established workshop in the heart of Silverdale.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to take the next step in the industry with plenty of future growth.

The successful applicant will be performing wheel alignments, tyre fitting and sales. Applicants must have previous industry experience here in NZ. Previous tyre sales & industry knowledge is essential.

Hours: Mon-Fri 7.30am – 5pm with a late-night Thurs 7pm. No weekends. Closed public holidays & 2 weeks over the Christmas period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fit, balance, and repair tyres for a variety of vehicles
• Perform wheel alignments using the latest equipment
• Inspect wheels, tyres, and suspension components for wear or damage
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
• Tyre/Mag Sales

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in inspecting, repairing and replacing tyres on a variety of vehicles
• Balancing and Aligning wheels to ensure safety and optimal performance & diagnosing tyre-related issues
• Previous Tyre/Mag Sales knowledge
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A current New Zealand full driver’s licence
