The Role We are actively seeking an experienced and qualified Mechanic to join us working in our Birch Ave retail store in Tauranga. This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, across Monday to Friday, where you'll be the expert and helping to drive our mechanical service offerings. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
- Performing general and some specialised mechanical repairs and servicing on a variety of customer vehicles
- Diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently using testing equipment
- Conducting inspections to ensure all work meets rigorous safety and compliance standards
- Providing clear and professional explanations of repair work and recommendations to our customers
To be successful you must have:
- A Level 4 Certificate in Light Automotive, or equivalent, or a minimum of 3 years' experience preferably within the NZ market
- A Full Driver's License
- A current WOF Certificate or be prepared and able to obtain this is preferable
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent computer literacy and technical proficiency
