Pierce Motorcycles is on the lookout for an experienced, qualified Motorcycle Technician to join our close-knit team in Christchurch! We’re a busy, well-established dealership and workshop. Although specialising in Yamaha and Royal Enfield, we work with a range of motorcycle brands, and we take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and service to our customers. We are on the hunt for an experienced, qualified, skilled, and passionate Motorcycle Mechanic, with a keen eye for detail-pertinent to the labour that is required on working on road bikes, scooters and late model dirt bikes.
About the Role:
- Permanent, Full-time
- Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday mornings as required
- Service, diagnose, and repair road motorcycles, adventure bikes, scooters, and late model off-road bikes to manufactured perfection
- Carry out Pre-Delivery inspections (PDI’s) and new bike setup
- Complete warranty repairs in line with factory standards
- Maintaining accurate job records and communicating clearly with the service team
- Fitting genuine and aftermarket accessories efficiently, safely and tidily
- Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance requirements
- Support colleagues with technical knowledge when needed
About You:
- An Experienced and Qualified Motorcycle technician
- Confident with diagnostics and modern motorcycle electronics
- High attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Team player with a solid work ethic
- Full motorcycle licence with a passion for the sport
