Hi-Tech Auto Electrical is seeking an experienced Automotive Electrician to step into a foreman role and lead our busy team of skilled technicians in Rolleston, Canterbury.
Reporting to the Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day to day running of the workshop and directing the technicians to complete jobs to a high standard and in a timely manner. Must also be able to quote and liaise with customers in a professional and timely manner. A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential.
This role also includes working on the tools diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and at times completing jobs in the field when required.
To be successful in this role, you will have
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- A current full driver’s licence
- Strong product and system knowledge
- Confident diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Solid experience using electronic diagnostic equipment
- A self-motivated, fit, positive and energetic attitude
Responsibilities include
- Diagnosing, servicing, identifying, and repairing complex automotive electrical faults
- Meeting deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Supporting and mentoring less-experienced technicians
- Completing daily timesheets, job details, and records accurately
