Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, and repair complex automotive electrical faults
- Work across a mixture of vehicles, agricultural machinery, heavy transport, and mobile plant
- Install accessories such as GPS, radios, lighting, and automation equipment
- Perform air-conditioning diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
- Manage job cards, timesheets, and customer communication
- Support and mentor junior or less experienced technicians
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
About You: We’re seeking someone who brings technical capability, a proactive attitude, and pride in their workmanship.
You will ideally have:
- Trade qualification in Automotive Electrical (or close to completion)
- Experience across automotive, heavy transport, agricultural or civil equipment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Confidence using electronic diagnostic tools
- A current full NZ driver’s licence
- A tidy, reliable, and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- A positive attitude and passion for the industry
- Applicants with strong automotive experience who want to develop skills in heavy/agri equipment will also be considered.
