Keith Andrews is proud to offer an opportunity for a motivated Apprentice Automotive Technician to learn, grow, and build a long-term career within our professional workshop environment.
About the Role As an Apprentice Automotive Technician, you will learn the necessary automotive skills required to successfully complete industry-standard training as set out by the ITO. Under the guidance of experienced technicians and the Service Manager, you will contribute to quality, productive workshop output while developing your technical knowledge and practical capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Work & Technical Knowledge
- Gain hands-on automotive knowledge, experience, and skills from qualified technicians and team members.
- Undertake new tasks and actively seek opportunities to learn and improve.
- Complete a minimum of 75 ITO credits annually in support of your apprenticeship.
- Prioritise workload effectively and seek assistance when required.
- Ensure jobs are completed on time, with all relevant costs accurately charged to job cards.
- Customer Service
- Maintain a tidy, professional appearance with uniform in good repair.
- Be polite, respectful, and helpful to customers and colleagues at all times.
- Deliver a high standard of workmanship and take pride in the quality of all work completed.
About You
- Genuine interest in the automotive industry and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing an apprenticeship.
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Health and safety focused with attention to detail.
