We are looking for a keen qualified mechanic to fill a senior mechanic role. Kenepuru Car Service Centre is a well-established workshop providing a full range of automotive services including repairs, servicing, WOF, tyres, suspension, and electrical work for the last 21 years. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Automotive Mechanic to join our professional team.
About the Role: You will be responsible for carrying out a wide variety of mechanical repairs and maintenance on different vehicle makes and models. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, the ability to work independently, and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service. Between our two mechanic shops and panel repair shop we can offer all sorts of new skills to learn and enhance your own ability
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general mechanical repairs, servicing, and maintenance
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Carry out WOF inspections (if certified, or willing to become certified)
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Contribute to a positive workshop environment Skills & Experience:
- Trade qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- WOF authority preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, motivated, and committed to high-quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills What We Offer:
