Watchorn Transport Ltd are looking for a heavy diesel mechanic with a passion for the transport industry to join our Awakeri based team. The successful candidate will be joining an experienced established team and will enjoy the flexibility that comes with fleet servicing.

• Be able to work to deadlines under pressure
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be flexibility to work rostered shifts, if required
• Have an uncompromising approach to health and safety
• Be trustworthy and take pride in your work

Relevant trade qualifications or experience is a bonus not a requirement.

About Us:

Watchorn Transport Ltd is a medium size transport company based in Awakeri predominantly servicing the log transport industry. WTL has a modern fleet comprising of mainly late model Kenworth log truck and trailers that operate throughout the wider Bay of Plenty. WTL have a modern state of the art workshop located in scenic rural setting just a short drive from Whakatane.

This is an opportunity to be located close to some of best fishing/hunting grounds in the country where traffic means two cars, house prices are reasonable, and everywhere is just a short drive.
