About the Role As a Heavy Diesel Technician, you’ll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of our diverse fleet of trucks and construction equipment. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Diagnosing faults using scan tools and visual inspections
- Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Delivering effective solutions
- Ensuring customer fleets remains safe, reliable, and operational
What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- A relevant trade qualification in Road Transport Level 4 or equivalent
- At least 4 years’ hands-on experience with trucks and trailers
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- A Class 4 driver’s licence and able to gain a class 5 licence
- Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Able to work overtime when needed
- To be part of the workshop teams on call roster for after hours call outs
