Maintenance Engineer – Trucks, Trailers & Earthmoving Machinery Location: Golden Bay Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, servicing, and rebuilding a wide range of equipment, including trucks, trailers, and earthmoving machinery. If you have a passion for heavy equipment and a strong mechanical background, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles and machinery
• Carry out repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds on trucks, trailers, and earthmoving equipment
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Assist with breakdowns and on-site repairs when required
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and industry best practices

About You

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Diesel Fitting, or related field
• Proven experience working on trucks, trailers, and/or earthmoving machinery
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and braking systems
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
