About the job opportunity
A fantastic opportunity is available for a Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established and reputable agricultural machinery provider with a strong presence across New Zealand. Known for delivering quality equipment and ongoing support to the rural sector, this organisation offers stability, growth, and a commitment to developing its people. Based in Whangarei, you will work in a well-equipped, modern workshop, supporting customers by maintaining and repairing a range of tractors and agricultural equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults across a range of tractors and machinery
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and inspections
- Ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently
- Record job details accurately and maintain service documentation
- Work closely with the wider team to meet service deadlines

About you
- Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic
- Experience working with agricultural machinery preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, motivated, and team-focused
- Good communication and organisational ability
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
