VTNZ Whakatane is seeking a dedicated Manager to lead the team to success. We need someone to get their teeth into an exciting career move and head a fun and talented team.

Requirements As our ideal candidate you will lead by example and set clear expectations and goals while supporting your team to be their best.
You know your stuff but aren't afraid to seek out and try new methods. You won't settle for less than a high standard of customer care and safety for all.
You'll be available to work 40 hours per week plus rostered weekends.
VTNZ Branch Managers will ideally have the ability to assist with inspections by either holding a valid CoF B authority or having the relevent experience to obtain one. If you don't have your authority already we can support you with training, provided:
- you have worked full-time carrying out repairs and maintenance to all safety aspects of heavy vehicles for at least *4 years
- hold a full class 2 & 4 NZ drivers licence or equivalent
*This can be reduced to 3 years with some qualifications - just ask!

We are well known in the communities we serve for our recognisable orange branches dotted around the country. The place to go for a WoF for your car or a CoF for your truck to ensure safety on the roads; or where you come to sit your driving test to give you independence.
Other key roles include Customer Service Representatives (the first impression maker for our customers), Branch Managers who offer leadership to their teams along with our Wellington-based Support Office crew.
The work we do has purpose; dealing with the public offers you a unique perspective into your community and the ability to positively impact individuals as well as all NZ road users. Our core branch roles are generally worked 8-5 weekdays with some Saturday work on a roster which allows you the work/life balance to down tools, turn off work mode and enjoy time with friends and family. We have a dedicated training centre and network of mentors and coaches to support you to embed your new skills into your day-to-day work as well as ongoing opportunities to gain additional inspection authorities, develop your skills or step up into leadership opportunities.
