Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager at our Tuam Street, Christchurch store.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ready to show us what they are made of and take this store and drive it forward.

This is a fantastic managerial opportunity too good to refuse. The role is hands on, you will be in amongst it with your team, as well as focused on:

• New Business Development; 
• Working closely with your team to achieve sales and customer service objectives;
• Managing and guiding your team on a daily basis.

The successful applicant will have:

• A clean and full NZ full driver's licence;
• Proven experience in store retail management in tyre, automotive and mechanical retail;
• Demonstrated ability in leading & motivating a team;
• A proven record acquiring and growing new accounts; 
• Ability to develop long term relationships with key customers; 
• A pro-active approach; 
• No difficulty "cold calling"; 
• A key strength in communicating and negotiating; 
• Computer literacy; 
• Exceptional staff management, stock control and customer service skills.

The role is open to internal and external candidates.

This role is working Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm and Saturday 9am - 12pm, with competitive remuneration and benefits.
