Description

The Role

As a Service Department Manager, you will be Responsible for overseeing the Workshop and Parts Manager and driving sales within our customer base and be a point of contact for customers who require maintenance, repairs, and servicing for their Motorcycles. You’ll guide customers through the process from booking their service to explaining the necessary work and providing timely updates. Your responsibilities will be liaising with technicians, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. While prior experience as a Service Department Manager is not essential, we are looking for someone with a strong passion for customer service and a willingness to learn – full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing excellent customer service throughout the complete process of their motorcycle arriving and leaving the dealership. Liaising with the workshop team to ensure that service jobs are completed on time and to the highest standards. Prepare accurate estimates and invoices, ensuring transparency for customers. Promote and upsell additional services when appropriate, always putting the customer’s needs first. Maintain customer records and ensure all service documents are up-to-date and properly filed. Contribute to the smooth operation of the Service Centre by assisting with administrative tasks and following up on any outstanding customer issues.

About You:

Excellent customer service skills with an understanding of the value of trust and rapport when building long lasting and robust relationships. Highly organised and process orientated. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure. Detail-oriented with strong data entry and documentation skills. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly to resolve customer issues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
