Description

CablePrice is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our network leadership team as Hastings Branch Manager. This position comes at an exciting time for CablePrice as not only do we represent the market leading Hitachi brand of equipment we have just been appointed the New Zealand importer and distributor for Tigercat forestry and off road industrial material processing equipment. The blocks are in place, we just need the right person to lead the way.

You will be a successful people leader who is joining a region in growth mode and will be ready to continue driving the business forward. This role includes a mix of people management, sales, managing customer relationships and operational responsibilities. While the branch has an experienced team, they will look to you for support and guidance, allowing you to influence and encourage change to ensure operational success.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading Health and Safety and ownership of our Health and Safety processes and reporting whilst providing ongoing advice to manage risks to the people and the business.
  • Strategically planning, leading, organising, and controlling branch activities to achieve and exceed budget targets.
  • Developing and executing effective service and parts sales strategies.
  • Contributing to local sales strategies to increase company market share.
  • Leading initiatives for staff development and effectively managing employee relations.
  • Collaborating with fellow Branch and Functional Managers to implement best practices and ensure consistent processes across all departments.

You will have strong leadership experience, a customer-centric approach to operations management, and value continuous improvement, as well as:

  • Love engaging with customers face to face at their sites
  • Excellent analytical, business planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Financial analytical skills necessary to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Senior leadership experience in dealership operations.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality service and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate diverse teams effectively.
  • Experience in Health and Safety management, with a proven track record in providing ongoing advice to manage risks to the people and the business.
