Assistant Branch Manager – Tyre General Amberley

Tyre General Amberley is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Branch Manager to support our team and help drive growth in the Hurunui district. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to grow their career in a busy, hands-on environment. Yes experience is preferred, but not essential. Training can be provided for the right person.

About the Role:

• Assist the Branch Manager with daily operations and decision-making
• Deliver high-quality customer service to a diverse range of clients
• Support staff management and team coordination
• Participate in hands-on roles including tyre fitting and wheel alignments
• Assist with fleet service work (truck and agricultural)
• Contribute to a safe, efficient workshop environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with tyre fitting for passenger, truck, and agricultural vehicles
• Skills in wheel alignments and fleet service
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work hands-on and handle varied workshop tasks
• Reliable, proactive, and be a team player
