Truck & Heavy Machinery Spray Painter – Full-Time
Independent Truck Spray Ltd – Penrose, Auckland
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (additional hours as required) Pay Rate: $34 - $39 per hour
Independent Truck Spray Ltd is a reputable commercial vehicle refinishing company located in Penrose, Auckland. We specialise in spray painting and refurbishment of trucks and heavy equipment. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Spray Painter to join our team. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare truck and heavy machinery surfaces for painting (sanding, masking, priming) Colour match and mix paints to specifications Spray paint using a range of automotive coatings Finishing and refinishing work to a high professional standard Conduct quality checks on completed work Maintain health & safety guidelines and workplace cleanliness Assist with minor repair-preparation tasks when required
Experience & Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following:
A recognised Level 4 trade qualification in automotive spray painting; or At least 3 years of full-time experience in spray painting trucks or heavy commercial vehicles within the last 5 years
Additional Skills:
Familiarity with heavy vehicle paint systems Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work within a team environment Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Physically fit for the demands of the role
