Looking to get away from the day-to-day work on the floor and get into a management role? We have a great opportunity to transition into a management role with an experienced team and a general manager on hand to support you. Chapman Collision Repairs is looking for a motivated Panel & Paint Manager to take responsibility for the overall day-to-day running of our experienced panel & paint team in Howick, working closely with the wider workshop team. The successful applicant will understand the management of a panel & paint workshop and have experience in scheduling and maintaining workflows. An understanding of I Bodyshop would help but training would be provided. While you are not expected to be part of the hands on team on a day to day basis, you'll also be able to step in when required. Key responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the panel & paint team
- Scheduling of work and clear and up to date communication with team
- Estimating of jobs What do you need to be successful in this role?
- Minimum of 5 years experience in panel shop environment and a relevant trade qualification
- Excellent communication skills with customers and staff . NZ resident is also a requirement
- Wages/salary depending on experience - let's talk
