Description
I Tech Automotive Ltd is a busy, modern automotive repair facility specialising in collision repairs, bodywork restoration, EV & hybrid structural repairs, and parts services. We use advanced equipment and have a highly skilled team. We are looking for an experienced Panel Beater to join our workshop in Manukau.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Panel beating, dent repairs, structural repairs, and body alignment
- Repairing or replacing damaged panels
- Sanding, filling, shaping, and prep work before painting
- Removing and refitting panels, trims, bumpers, doors, and exterior components
- Chassis and frame straightening
- Restoring vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Keeping job cards and repair notes up to date
- Following workshop safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of three years’ proven practical experience as a Panel Beater (collision repair).
- Relevant Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) preferred
- Ability to follow repair methods and complete job cards accurately
- Experience with welding equipment, body alignment systems, and repair tools
- Must own basic tools
- A clean NZ driver’s licence or equivalent international licence
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- EV/Hybrid repair experience is a bonus, but not required
What We Offer
- Permanent, full-time position
- Minimum of 30 hours per week
- Hourly pay rate: $ 25 - 30
- Ongoing training where needed
