Avon City Ford is an award-winning Ford Dealership , we have been on our prominent 5-acre site at the Sockburn roundabout since the 1960’s here in Christchurch. It is a big operation, we are made up of Sales, Parts, Service, Paint & Panel, Training, Grooming, all up we have over 100 team members. We are predominantly a Ford franchise but we sell or repair any make and model of passenger and light commercial vehicles.

We are looking for an experienced Paint shop prepper / Assistant.

We are a preferred repairer to major insurance companies, you will join the team in our large, bright, modern workshop.

To be successful in this position you will require the below attributes

• Skilled & experience in the process required to produce high quality preparation for the Paint team
• Perform all tasks in a timely manner with high attention to detail.
• Able to meet Target times.

• Work in a team environment.
• Be able to work unassisted.
• Comply with health and safety at all times.
• Do further training supported by the Paint manufacture to help up skill and keep on top of all the latest products & methods.
