Are you an experienced Panel Beater with a passion for quality workmanship and consistently delivering great results? We may have an opportunity for you to join our skilled and supportive team.

Straight-N-Paint Collision Repair is seeking a full-time Panel Beater to carry out structural repairs at our Rangiora collision repair workshop.

About the role:

  • Full-time position, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Hours: 8.00am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Overtime available
  • Based at our Newnham Street workshop, Rangiora
  • Competitive pay

As a Panel Beater at Straight-N-Paint, you’ll work alongside highly skilled tradespeople on a wide variety of vehicles, using modern equipment including Car-O-Liner chassis straightening and 3D measuring systems. Straight-N-Paint is a well-established and trusted repairer. We take pride in our workmanship and genuinely care about providing exceptional service. We are:

  • A Licensed CRA Repairer
  • A Member of the Motor Trade Association (MTA)
  • IMPAC Prequal Health & Safety Assessed

Key responsibilities:

  • Repairing a variety of vehicles to a high standard
  • Documenting jobs using our body shop management system (training provided)
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe work environment

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Panel Beater
  • Strong technical skills and industry knowledge
  • Trade and/or I-CAR NZ qualifications preferred but not essential (ongoing I-CAR NZ training provided)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Well organised with the ability to manage a varied workflow
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and good character
  • Full, current driver licence
  • Experience with Car-O-Liner chassis straightening and 3D measuring is highly advantageous
