We’re looking for a skilled Commercial Vehicle Painter to join our Waitara team — this is not an entry-level position. You’ll be working in a high-output environment where quality, efficiency, and attention to detail matter.

This position could appeal to someone who has been a structural steel painter & is wanting to upskill into commercial vehicle painting.

The Role Full refinishing of commercial vehicles, structural steel and industrial equipment Surface prep, priming, sealing, and topcoat application Colour matching and achieving high-quality final finishes Buffing, polishing, and rectifying defects where required Stripping and refitting components as part of the paint process Working to job specs, time targets, and quality standards Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area Following company systems and job recording processes

Pay & Hours $34 – $40 per hour (depending on experience) Minimum 40 hours per week (guaranteed) Full-time, permanent role

What We’re Looking For Minimum 2+ years experience in a professional spray painting environment Proven ability to deliver high-quality finishes consistently Strong knowledge of automotive/industrial paint systems High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to work independently and keep jobs moving Good attitude, reliability, and team mindset Full driver’s licence
