This is an awesome opportunity to step into a Sales Rep role where you’ll initially look after an existing customer base, learn from a highly skilled Senior Rep, and grow your confidence in the field.
If you enjoy talking to people, solving customer problems, and you know your way around parts, this is the role for you!
Role
Reporting to the Wiri Branch Manager, you’ll look after an existing set of customers from Takanini, out East to Whitford and East Tamaki, and northwards up to Newmarket.
You’ll operate in a B2B field sales role travelling to customer sites in a company van stocked with consumables and frequently used products required daily by our customers. You’ll be responsible for servicing accounts face to face replenishing stock, identifying customer needs and providing product solutions on the spot. As you gain confidence in our brand, products, and customer base, you’ll also have the opportunity to grow your territory and expand your sales skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking care of an established group of customers across
- Visiting customers regularly, checking in on their needs, and offering the best product solutions
- Using your parts experience to help customers get what they need, when they need it
- Working closely with the branch to make sure stock is available for your customers
- Spotting small new opportunities as you grow confidence in the role
- Keeping your manager updated with basic reports and customer insights
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with either 1–2 years’ experience in a sales role; or 3–4 years’ experience in a parts customer facing role (whether light or heavy automotive) and looking to get out on the road.
You’ll also need:
- Confidence talking to people and building relationships
- A great attitude and willingness to learn from experienced team members
- Basic computer skills and comfort using simple reporting tools
- A full driver licence (DG experience is a bonus but not essential)
