Automotive Service Advisor
Our client is excited to bring on a motivated, customer-focused individual with a real passion for the automotive industry to jump into an entry-level Service advisor role.
You'll be joining a trusted, independent workshop near Auckland Airport, working in a lively, fast-paced environment with a friendly, professional team committed to top-quality workmanship and outstanding customer care - an ideal place to grow your skills and thrive.
About the Role
As the Service Advisor, you'll be the key link between the customers and technicians. You will have at least one (1) year in a customer facing role, great communication skills, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in vehicles.
Duties in role
- Greeting customers and managing bookings
- Assisting with job estimates and explaining service requirements
- Coordinating workflow with technicians
- Providing updates and maintaining clear communication
- Managing invoicing, payments, and service records
- Ensuring every customer has a positive experience
What You'll Bring
- Experience in automotive customer service (automotive parts experience including parts catalogues an advantage)
- Strong communication - both written and verbal with English language a must
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Strong work ethic & organizational skills
- Full NZ working rights - not accepting offshore applicants for this role.
