We are a leading forklift and material handling company seeking an Intermediate or senior parts person to support our service department and clients. This is a great opportunity to advance your career in a growing company. We are looking ideally for someone with 2–4 years of experience in a parts or inventory role, ideally in the forklift, automotive, or heavy equipment industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the service department to ensure timely delivery of required parts Requirements
- Assist customers and technicians with parts inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
- Identify and source correct parts using manufacturer catalogues and software
- Maintain parts inventory levels and re-order stock as necessary
- Receive, label, and organise incoming parts shipments
- Process parts orders, returns, and assist with warranty claims
- Maintain a clean and organised parts area
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in a parts or inventory role
- Strong knowledge of parts systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 20kg and work in a warehouse/parts room environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Valid full, NZ driver’s license
- Forklift license would also be an advantage
