The Company:

The Role:
As the Group Compliance Manager, you will report directly to the CEO and take ownership of the compliance function across all jurisdictions (including internationally) in which the Group operates. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring robust compliance frameworks, effective risk management practices, and strong regulatory relationships. You will play a key role within the Lead Team, contributing strategically while remaining hands-on across core compliance activities. There will be one report in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a broad role covering a wide remit of Compliance duties across this medium sized business.
Duties will include:
- Oversee and maintain statutory compliance obligations, the Group's risk management framework, risk register and risk appetite statement.
- Manage AML/CFT client due diligence and onboarding.
- Coordinate Risk Committee meetings and manage escalated compliance matters.
- Ensure timely filing of company returns, licence renewals, training registers and compliance manuals.
- Liaise with regulators, government bodies and external stakeholders
- Manage one direct report, including performance, development and reviews.
- Provide monthly and quarterly reporting.
Requirements:
To be a successful applicant for this role you will need to demonstrate experience in a Compliance position within the Financial Services sector.
