Civil Estimator

The Opportunity / Role:

Professional Excavation Ltd is a dynamic New-Plymouth based company, looking for great people with proven experience in the civil construction industry.
We are growing! Due to increased workload, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Estimator. We need someone motivated and self-led, who understands opportunities, a Project Engineer, Site Engineer, Project Manager, QS, or someone in civil construction ready to move into a more commercial role.

If you understand how civil projects actually run and enjoy the commercial side of construction, we’d love to talk. An understanding of civil construction projects and how to get them done is essential.

Key skills and attributes: Previous estimating, QS or project delivery experience Experience in subdivisions, roading, drainage or commercial civil works Strong numerical and commercial skills Ability to read plans and interpret scopes Civil engineering, QS or equivalent industry experience A practical mindset and willingness to learn

This is a newly created role working directly alongside leadership and reporting into the:

Managing Director, Growth and Strategy Manager and Contracts Manager.
