Health & Safety Consultant – Systems, Audits & Accreditation Christchurch | Remote / Office Flexibility

We’re looking for a practical, down-to-earth Health & Safety Consultant who can relate to tradies, build strong systems, and help our clients get accredited and operate safely.

About the Role

This role is focused on helping clients build and implement Health & Safety systems, guide them through SiteWise, Tōtika and IMPAC accreditations, and carry out onsite construction audits to ensure everything is working in practice.

It’s largely desk*based, but with regular onsite work visiting construction sites, running audits, supporting implementation, and working directly with teams.

You’ll also work closely with admin support, so you can focus on the work that actually adds value.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building practical Health & Safety systems and documentation
• Guiding clients through SiteWise, Tōtika & IMPAC accreditation
• Conducting onsite construction audits and identifying improvements
• Training clients on how to use their systems effectively
• Working directly with business owners, managers, and tradies
• Continuously improving systems and templates

Who We’re Looking For

• You can relate to tradies and communicate in a practical, no-BS way
• Background in Health & Safety or a trade (construction ideal)
• Strong understanding of the construction process and industry
• You’ve been on the tools and are ready to move into a more desk*based role
• Confident with computers and systems (this is important)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients
• You want to grow and continuously improve
