Stormwater & Wastewater Labourer - West Auckland
Our client is a major civil and construction company with a strong reputation for delivering essential infrastructure projects across Auckland. Due to continued growth, we are looking for hardworking and reliable labourers to join their Stormwater & Wastewater team based in Henderson, West Auckland.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous civil construction experience who enjoys physical outdoor work and being part of a fast-paced crew.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting drainlayers with stormwater and wastewater repairs
- Digging, trenching, and manual labouring duties
- Supporting urgent water-related call-out jobs
- Assisting with drain and pipe repair work
- Working safely on civil construction sites
- Operating around machinery and site equipment
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in civil construction or infrastructure work preferred
- Full Class 1 licence required
- Class 2 licence highly advantageous
- WTR (Wheels, Tracks & Rollers) endorsements are a bonus
- Strong communication skills and good English essential
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety focused
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Must be able to work 40-50 hours per week
