Flooring Specialist

A clear market leader in the commercial concrete flooring industry we pride ourselves on offering clients a total solution to any of their concrete flooring needs.

We are looking for experienced Flooring Specialists to join our team. Your role will be to execute daily activities and successfully complete commercial flooring construction and repairs and/or placing and finishing within agreed timeframes and quality standards.

• Permanent Full Time Location : Auckland
• Pay : $35-40 per hour
• Current Vacancies: 4 Positions
• Working Hours Between : Monday to Saturday / 6am to 5pm
• Hours : 40 Hours Weekly

Job Requirements include

• Ensure tools, plant and equipment is fully operational
• Perform measurements of work derived from plans or onsite visits
• Giving guidance on the best floor products available, listening to customers' needs and requirements
• Perform checks around condition of underlying surfaces before completing floor covering with required materials
• Use various coverings/coatings, prep work to floor surfaces and chemicals to complete required task for the projects

About You

• At least 3 Years experience in flooring construction and repairs and using different coating applications
• Experience in working in commercial construction industries
• Experience in measuring and quoting
• A strong focus on customer service with a ‘can do’ and helpful attitude
• Strong numerical and written communication skills
• Physically fit
• Be a team player and a great problem solver
• Understands and follows a healthy and safe working environment

A New Zealand Drivers Licence would be an advantage and you will need to undergo and pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
