Stonemason

Contrax is looking for motivated individuals to join our close-knit team. We are looking for experienced stonemasons to help deliver a wide range of high-profile upcoming projects.

Key tasks would be:

• Laying and cutting in of paving, walls, and kerbs.
• Brick laying including the footings/foundations.
• Block Laying including the footings/foundations.
• Base preparation to line and level including compaction.
• Water blasting and cleaning.
• Placing and finishing of concrete.
• Excavation both hand digging and working with excavation equipment.
• Timber work, both boxing and building of structures.
• General labouring where necessary.

We can offer you *competitive remuneration, $30 to $35 per hour based on experience *Guaranteed minimum of 30hrs per week. *Immigration NZ accredited employer (can assist with Visa’s and residency) *Ongoing training and development *Great team working environment

Ideal person will have: *2yrs Experience in stonemasonry *Good organizational skills *Reasonable fitness and be able to lift some heavy items *Good time management *Current driver’s license, minimum class 1, preferably class 2 *Ability to pass a mandatory drug & alcohol test
