Description
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our team, specialising in foundation work for residential and commercial construction projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in highquality workmanship and enjoys working as part of a committed, professional crew. About the Role You will be responsible for carrying out a range of foundationrelated carpentry tasks, including but not limited to:
- Constructing and preparing formwork for concrete foundations
- Installing footings, slabs, piles, and ground beams
- Reading and interpreting construction plans
- Ensuring all work meets building code and site safety requirements
- Working collaboratively with builders, contractors, and site managers About You To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in carpentry, ideally with a focus on foundations
- Good understanding of NZ building standards and safety practices
- Ability to read and follow construction drawings
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour Qualifications & Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Full driver’s licence (preferred)
- Ability to pass site safety and preemployment checks What We Offer
