About the Role If you enjoy variety and working outdoors, this could be a great fit. As part of a maintenance crew, you'll be involved in a mix of tasks including:
- General road maintenance: guard rail repairs, pothole repairs
- Litter collection
- Mowing using John Deere mowers or tractors
- Soft landscaping: pruning, hedging
- Spraying for weed control
- Weed eating
This role involves travelling across different Auckland locations. You'll start and finish each day at the Mt Wellington, West Auckland yard. Sunday to Thursday day shift: 6:30am-3:00pm (hours tbc but this is the standard day shift)
Skills & Experience
- Full Class 1 licence (required)
- Class 2 (desirable)
- Experience in litter collection, spraying, traffic control, or weed eating (advantageous)
- Good physical fitness and comfort working outdoors
