Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Concrete Place /Finish Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in placing, levelling, and finishing concrete for various construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the placement, spreading, and levelling of concrete.
• Operate hand and power tools such as trowels, vibrators, and screeds.
• Ensure concrete surfaces are smooth, even, and properly finished.
• Mould expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge.
• Work closely with supervisors, site managers, and other crew members.
• Follow all health and safety regulations on-site.
• Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling.
• Identify and report any issues related to concrete quality or site conditions.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Experience in concrete placing, finishing, or general construction is an advantage.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and concrete finishing equipment.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual labour in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of different concrete finishes (e.g., broom, smooth).
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to turning up every day ready to work.
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
