Class 2 Civil Worker - Rolleston

THE GIG: Are you an experienced Civil Worker that has a Full Class 2 as a minimum, ideally WTR and are looking for more hours in Diggers, Loaders and Rollers?

We are currently on the hunt for a junior Civil Worker to work within a newly formed crew based in Rolleston, where you will be operating a Class 2 vehicle, towing a small Digger on a trailer, whilst also working on the ground with the crew.

This role is not solely Class 2 driving and is doing Roading maintenance along with roading prep work, with a variety of daily tasks from plate compaction, boxing, working as a spotter and at times getting in Loaders and Diggers to gain extra hours in the seat when training opportunities can be provided to upskill you.

As these positions will be working towards the goal of putting you through infrastructure qualifications and working within a crew, the need for reliability and a willingness to work and get on with others is paramount.

Work will leave from Rolleston each day, with reliable transport required.

Work will be 7am-5pm although at times there might be earlier starts during the summer months, with a later start time as we head towards winter. Ideally, this position will suit the next generation of Civil Operators that need those hours in the seat, but can't seem to get it in their current roles with this client willing to go against the grain and train good people that have good attitudes.

• You can pass a drug screen
• Physically fit, with a willingness to labour
• Hold hours working on Civil Construction sites - Roading/Drainage/Concrete, etc
• Full Class 2 License
• Have your own reliable transport
• Be Health and Safety conscious
• Present well and understand you're representing the client on the day
